St John's Church is located in downtown Ottawa, on the corner of Elgin Street and Somerset Street West.  Entry to the church is through the main doors on Elgin Street.  The parish offices are at 154 Somerset Street West.

Parking is a perpetual talking-point in downtown Ottawa.  Most Sunday mornings there is plenty of on-street parking near the Church.   As well, parking is free in the lot beside the church underneath Somerset Gardens (138 Somerset Street West) on Sundays until 1:00 pm.  Parking is also free Sundays till 1 next to St Theresa's RC Church on the corner of Cartier and Nepean, one block east.

Driving directions: from the Queensway (Hwy 417) take the Metcalfe Street exit.  You'll be heading north and the historic Museum of Nature will be in front of you.  You'll have to turn right onto Argyle Street to avoid driving into the museum.  Instead of driving around the museum, keep going straight on Argyle; in one block, you'll come a light at Elgin Street.  Turn left and come up Elgin Street a few blocks.  St John's is located on your right at the corner of Elgin Street and Somerset Street West.  It's a large red brick church.

Questions? Feel free to call the parish office at (613) 232-4500.
