The Strings of St John's
The Strings of St John's is a 22 member chamber orchestra based at the Church of St John the Evangelist. While independent of the parish, members of The Strings do play for our major church festivals. The conductor of the Strings of St John's is Gordon Johnston, who is Director of Music at St John's Church.

Integrity Canada
Integrity is an international movement of Anglican gay men, lesbians, and friends. The Integrity movement now has six chapters in Canada. Their main website has many documents tracking the appeal for gays and lesbians for full inclusion in the life of the Anglican Church of Canada.

Integrity Ottawa
The Ottawa Chapter of Integrity started in 2006. Several members of our parish are involved in this chapter. Integrity Ottawa is supported by St Johns.

Living God's Blessing
A group of Anglican clergy and lay people who wish to see the Anglican Church of Canada extend blessings to same-sex couples have prepared an Open Letter to members of General Synod 2007. Over 700 Canadian Anglicans have signed this Letter as a sponsor. Please read the letter and consider joining us in urging General Synod to approve the blessing of fsithful same-sex relationships.

The Whole Message Conference
Anglicans from across Canada are invited to Ottawa, Friday and Saturday 13 and 14 April 2007 to discuss means of ensuring that the Anglican Church of Canada reaffirm its commitment to the via media, the traditional broad path, to be an inclusive church. This important conference is being hosted at St Johns.
